Usually found in family altars, monsateries and carried by Buddhist monks for ceremonies. Thangkas portrays anything from Buddhas, their lives, great masters and mandalas. Revered as a second Buddha, Padmasambhava was invited from India to overcome the resistance in spreading Buddhist teachings. He is more popularly known as Guru Rinpoche.
